Event Description

Community Car Show is conducting a fundraiser for Children’s Hospitals by holding 600 car shows over the summer and fall. We are working through Walmart's home office and our sponsors Dr. Pepper, Castrol, and Hertz Rent-a-Car.

We have several cruise-ins/shows in your area each Saturday in the month of June from noon to 4 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot -- where the cars will be seen by thousands of shoppers, many who have never before seen such special cars! However, we have some openings at shows in your area on June 1st and would like to see if your club would be available to be our guest as an anchor club for one of those shows.

Other event participants are donating $5 per vehicle to your local Children's Hospital, but if your club will be an anchor club and bring 5-10 vehicles to this show, we will waive that fee for each of them. However, you are more than welcome to donate any amount. They will be our guests!

**Please call and let me know if you are interested in any of these events.  If we have an event scheduled but no interest show we are rescheduling in July and October.

The website to register is www.communitycarshow.com

Here is a press release for the program: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2013/5/prweb10703627.htm.

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

1948 Rover P3 Saloon

The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…
