RE: Seventh Annual Community, Family & Friends Day, Invitation
Dear Southeast Wheels Events:
Albany Technical College is sponsoring its Seventh Annual Community, Family and Friends Day (CFFD) to be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event will be held on the campus of Albany Technical College at 1704 South Slappey Boulevard. The purpose of this function is to provide the community with information concerning Albany Technical College academic programs, financial aid options, and much more.
Please join us as we celebrate with this year’s theme, ATC: Real World Training, the key ingredient in preparing today's workforce at Albany Technical College. The Bike & Car Show component has traditionally been well-attended and trophies have been awarded to Best of Show, and People’s Choice—we plan to have similar trophies this year.
Your contribution of time and expertise will make the event one of the most important days in the progression of our community and as well as the continuous economic development of the region.
There will be academic program showcases, refreshments, fun games, ATC Titans presentations, door prizes, and much more. We want your Club to participate in this event, and for your members to invite family or friends who would like to participate.
We are calling up all cars and bikes (classic, antique, modified, truck, bike) we want you to participate in this event. Registration forms are forthcoming, but in the meantime, interested parties can contact any of the following ATC Representatives below.
With sincere appreciation for your support,
Barbara Brown, bbrown@albanytech.edu, 229-430-1974, CFFD Chair
Tocarro Davis, tdavis@albanytech.edu, 229-430-5829, CFFD Co-Chair

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster
The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

1948 Rover P3 Saloon
The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future.
