Event Description

HemlockFest, hosted by the Lumpkin Coalition, is an annual festival held the first full weekend in November. The Festival and the proceeds from the festival are used to increase public awareness of Eastern and Carolina hemlock tree problems and to provide financial support for Area Colleges and Universities in their efforts to save the Hemlocks.

HemlockFest will feature 19 bands and entertainers providing almost 30 hours of great music, plus food and beverage, natural crafts vendors, interactive presentations and exhibits, and lots of activities (including a Kid’s Nature Village).

The Parade on Saturday features local collectors' unique antiques and classic cars!
