"Legends Live Where Legends Roam"
The Cherokee Nation was the first to occupy the land that is now Towns County, where Hiawassee calls home. Incorporated in 1870, she adopted as her name the Cherokee word meaning “meadow”.
WELCOME BACK TO HIAWASSEE!!
Everyone had such a great time last year, Hiawassee was voted the rally site for 2012!
If you missed last year's rally, don't miss out again. With more than a dozen guided rides daily, parties galore, cash giveaways and a few surprises thrown in for fun, you certainly won't lack for things to do. Of course, if you're just looking to get away and relax there is no better place than the north Georgia mountains.
Towns County has proven to be one of the most hospitable places in Georgia. Please take the time to visit their website, www.mountaintopga.com for area information (including places to stay). "MOUNTAIN TOP GEORGIA," nuff said.
