Beatles Tribute Concert featuring "Abbey Road LIVE!" [2:30pm - 4:30pm]

Since 2002, Abbey Road LIVE! has been rocking the music of the Beatles at clubs, theaters, festivals, and private events. Initially a tribute to the monumental “Abbey Road” album, the band has expanded its scope to include more than 100 Beatles tunes, from all eras of the Fab Four’s career.

At a typical Abbey Road LIVE! show, audiences young and old can found gleefully singing along with every word, many in utter disbelief at getting to hear this monumental music performed live; something that even the Beatles themselves never did, since they stopped touring in 1966.

Car Registration for the GREAT British Car Fayre is now under way. Thank you to those who have already pre-registered - we appreciate your participation & look forward to meeting you in Alpharetta on Feb 23rd.

It's always difficult to estimate expected attendance at events like this, and we acknowledge that Feb 23rd is early in the annual calendar. However, with the marketing power of the Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau behind us, our own extensive database, and many enthusiastic British car-owners and Alpharetta residents interested in attending this event, public safety becomes an important factor with large crowds. For that reason advance registration of cars has become a necessity. Additionally, available space at the venue may also require capping the number of cars on show to approximately 100. We hope you understand the reasons for this decision, and thank you for doing so.

The Car Fayre itself will run from 10:00am - 2:00pm, followed by the presentation of the Philip Saunders Memorial Trophy (People's Choice, Best-in-Show), by Her Majesty's Consul General, Annabelle Malins, between 2:00pm - 2:15pm.

Advance Car Registration will be available until one or two days before the event itself. To register your car, please complete the following form or feel free to contact us if you have specific questions you would like us to respond to. Email: rgilbert@empire-events.net or Tel: 678 925 4736.
Thank you for your support of this event!

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

A Bite of History: by Mike Thies

1948 Rover P3 Saloon

The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…

But behind the scenes, many of these clubs are hitting a serious speed bump: no one wants to take the wheel. Volunteer-run clubs are facing an increasingly common…

Why It’s Hard to Recruit Younger Members to Volunteer Car Clubs, and How to Fix It

Car clubs have long been the social engine of the collector car world, bringing people together to swap parts, plan road trips, attend shows, and preserve automotive history. But in recent years, many volunteer-run car clubs have struggled with a pressing problem: recruiting and retaining younger members. The concern isn’t just about numbers, it’s about sustainability. As the…
