ATLANTA MOTORSPORTS PARK (AMP)

Atlanta Motorsports Park (AMP) is a road circuit designed by famed Formula One architects, Hermann Tilke. AMP is a 2-mile road circuit with elevation changes, technical circuit layout, high-speed straights and two ‘signature’ corners designed to pay homage to famed European race circuits; Belgium’s Spa-Francochamps and the iconic ‘Carousel’ from Germany’s Nurburgring. Incorporating these most famous and exciting elements of all of tracks only hints at how much fun AMP is.

ON-SITE AUTOCROSS TEST AND TUNE COURSE

In addition to the standard Track Night in America event, SCCA will also be hosting an on-site autocross test and tune in the paddock area at AMP. Anyone may participate by purchasing 5 run tickets for $25. If you sign-up for Track Night, you will receive a $5 discount and get 5 runs for $20. Additional runs may be purchased for $10 per 3 runs. Also, if as part of your Track Night registration you sign-up for an SCCA membership, you will receive your first 5 runs for FREE!!! Sign-up and registration for the autocross will be available in the same area as the Track Night event check-in area. The autocross will run from 4:00PM until 8:00PM (during the Track Night on track hours) and is available to anyone who wishes to participate.

Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene.
