Event Description

Did you ever ride the loop in Winfield or do you want to? This community charity event provides just the platform sponsored by the Winfield Main Street Program. Classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, new cars, old cars, and even mini vans are invited to "ride the loop." Stroll through vendor selections, enjoy food and live music and shop with local merchants. 12pm-11 p.m. with 8 p.m. car and bike parade.
 
 “I had so much fun re-living my youth tonight!” Featuring the East Side Roller Rink (old wooden rink), Blue Moon Drive-In Theatre, Cardinals Drive-In and Burgers & More, just like the good ‘ole days! 
 
Growing up in Winfield, Alabama on Friday and Saturday nights teenagers would "ride the loop" that went from one edge of Winfield to the other. Teens would even come from neighboring counties to ride the loop for fun dating back to the 1950s. They would ride the loop for hours after the football games and meet all of our friends in town. It was the cool place to be!!!!
