Law Enforcement Memorial Bike Ride
– A Police Escorted Motorcycle Ride From Brunswick, Ga. To St. Augustine Fla. Proceeds Benefit The Families Of Officers Killed In The Line Of Duty, Officers With Terminal Illnesses And Officers Seriously Injured In Traffic Crashes While On Duty. Event Has Drawn Between 200-300 Bikes In Past Years. A “Pre-Ride Activities Night” Will Be Held Friday, Sept. 21st From 6:00pm Until 11:00pm At The Stellar Conference Center, 125 Venture Drive With A Cookout, Band, Pre-Registration And Sale Of Event Items. Saturday’s Event Starts At 8:00am At The Golden Isles Harley Shop, 153 Venture Drive With Registrations, Sale Items, Dedication And Ride Prayer. Kickstands Up Promptly At 10:00am. The Host Motel In Brunswick For Friday Night Is The Quality Inn, (912) 265-4600 , Located Directly Behind The Golden Isles Harley Shop. The Reduce Room Rate Is $61.05 (Includes Tax). The Host Motel In St. Augustine Is The Monterey Inn, (904)-824-4844 , 16 Avenida Menendez Ave., Which Is On The Bay Front And Within Walking Distance Of All Attractions.
