The Health and Education Relief Organization (HERO) in conjunction with the North Cobb Rotary is holding a Ride for Haiti Poker Run Oct 15, 2011. The run starts at WOW on N. Cobb Pkwy, goes to HD Cartersville, to the overlook near Ft. Mtn. SP, to Poole's BBQ in Ellijay, and ends up at Hooters in Kennesaw. All proceeds go to the Children of Jesus orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The 90 kids are still living in tents after the earthquagke in Jan 2010.
