Event Description

Mark your calendar and plan to attend Peachstate Region's 2nd annual "Meet, Greet, and Show" hosted by Performance Auto Collision Center.  This is a FUN get together and not a scored Concours event.  Bring your Porsche and meet other club members who enjoy talking about and showing their cars.  Many club members have great stories about their cars' provenance and love telling others, so join the group and tell your story too!

This year we will offer "practice" judging open to all club members that are considering entering the Norcross or future Concours events.   Peachstate judges will be using Concours judging sheets and will score your car just like at a Concours event.   The judges will explain what is being judged, how deductions are determined, and areas of improvement.  If you are interested, please RSVP Daryl Goetz here or Don Hand here to be put on the list.

A Bite of History - Marcos

The Marcos was one of those wonderfully unconventional British sports car companies that could only have come from the postwar racing world. The company was founded in 1959 by Jem Marsh and aerodynamicist Frank Costin, with the name Marcos coming from Marsh and Costin. Costin brought serious aircraft and racing design experience to the project, and that influence showed up immediately in the cars: low frontal area, light weight,…
