Event Description

Yes, Attention Concours enthusiasts. You are invited to register to attend our final Concours event for 2019 that is less than five weeks away. Time is running out to pre-register for the one and only "Porsches & Planes Concours."

We hope you're planning to join us for this special Concours at Stoney Point Airfield on Sunday, October 6. This is a fabulous venue that combines private homes and airplane hangars with a grass runway amidst acres of grassy knolls and woods.

Jim Ellis Porsche Atlanta Perimeter is our sponsor and will be providing a complimentary BBQ lunch for Concours participants and guests. But, in order to have enough food and beverage, your Concours pre-registration and/or RSVP for lunch must be received prior to September 30.

Directions to Stoney Point Airfield: Take exit #12 (McFarland Road) off GA 400, drive east 6/10 of a mile, turn left onto Shiloh Road; follow for 1.8 miles, turn left onto Stoney Point Road; follow for 6/10 of a mile, turn left at Kitfox Circle (a gated road) and you've arrived! Volunteers will be on hand to direct you to parking.

The Concours entry fee is only $20 per each participating Porsche if you pre-register. The registration fee is $30 if you register on the day of the event.

Please pre-register and plan to participate in the "Street Class" or "Touring Class." For Concours participation, you will need to provide the YEAR and MODEL of the Porsche you are entering, the CLASS in which you plan to compete, and your CELL PHONE NUMBER

The Concours cars will be displayed and judged on the grass area bordering the taxiway of the private airport's runway. We will open for staging and sign-in on site at 10:00 am. Judging is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm.

At the conclusion of the event, a special "People's Choice" award will be presented to the owner of the Concours Porsche selected from the tally of votes received from everyone in attendance.

To pre-register your Porsche for the Concours judging, please email:

Concours Chairman, Bob Kuchenbecker and Concours Co-Chairman, Dan DeRiemer here.

Volunteers are needed to help with Parking, Judging, and Timing.
