-$10 toy or money donation
Come join us for the 2014 edition of Santa's Toy Run, sponsored by the Southern Thunder Cruisers, along with Sheriff Lynn Anderson and the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office. As our event continues to grow, we are making changes that will help keep the ride safe and fun for everyone. This year we are having registration at Ogeechee Technical College on Hwy 301S, about halfway between Statesboro and I-16. This change gives us plenty of room to park and maneuver our bikes at the start of the ride. As usual, we ask that you bring a new $10 toy or money donation, to be donated to the Division Of Family And Children's Services.
If you come from out of town to participate, your donation will be sent back to your home county. So by riding with us in our toy run you are actually helping a needy child in your own community. After a nice leisurely ride to Statesboro, we will be joined by Santa Claus in his motorcycle drawn sleigh. He meets us downtown every year to have a motorcycle escort through the streets of Statesboro, ending at the Statesboro Flea Market. Our arrival is the highlight of the day for the scores of children waiting on Santa. After the guest of honor is delivered, all of the toy run participants will be given a free lunch and a chance to win a wonderful door prize. We will also be selling door prize tickets along with 50/25/25 tickets. All of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to DFCS. So put us on your ride calendar and come start the holiday season by helping a needy child have a very Merry Christmas!

A Concours d’Elegance may look simple from the outside: beautiful cars, polished chrome, fresh grass, well-dressed owners, judges with clipboards, and spectators enjoying the day. But anyone who has worked behind the scenes knows better. A…

A Bite of History - Marcos

The company was founded in 1959 by Jem Marsh and aerodynamicist Frank Costin, with the name Marcos coming from Marsh and Costin. Costin brought serious aircraft and racing design experience to the project, and that influence showed up immediately in the cars: low frontal area, light weight,…
