Hi Dave  Show was a great success, and everyone commented on the great time that they had.  Many pedal cars and toys changed hands, and many people went home with several new toys.  Next years show will be May 8-11, 2012 at the same location, Ramada Inn in Pigeon Forge.  I will be starting to distribute fliers next week.  Hope you can make it, show will be even bigger and better.   Al

Coming up quickly, make plans now to attend the Smoky Mountain Pedal Car and Toy show in beautiful Pigeon Forge, TN on May 18-21, 2011.  The show will include pedal cars from the early 1900's to 1970, as well as pedal tractors, wagons, ride-on toys, and pressed steel cars and trucks.  This is the largest event of its kind, and many very rare and seldom seen pedal cars and toys will be at this show.

The tall rear window of earlier years gave way to a cleaner fastback design that improved visibility and aerodynamics. Inside, Chevrolet focused on comfort and drivability, quieter…

Triumph TR8

The Triumph TR8, introduced in 1978, was often called the “English Corvette.” It was essentially a Triumph TR7 fitted with a Rover 3.5-liter aluminum V8, a powerplant with American Buick origins that had been adopted by British Leyland in the 1960s. With around 135 to 150 horsepower in…
