MIR and Racers of Memphis have put together a “Street Warz of Memphis” that will run on the MIR Drag Strip to move Illegal Street racing to a safe and controlled place- no track prep, standard maintenance.
Cars or Bikes taking part in this program are to be street legal cars and bikes - must be driven to the track …….
Details: Arm drop start - no tree
No times – No Scoreboards – No Waterbox
Winner determined by racer -No win lights–Display Flasher or Turn Signal If no true winner can be determined both cars will run again.
Cars “Tire to Tire” at the starting line
Cars may burnout . . . NO water box
Safety First: Safety Inspection - working headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals Windows are mandatory.
Drag Radials, Slicks, or Street tires ACCEPTED
NO wheelie bars or parachutes
Once a month March – September on FRIDAY Night - track will open at 8:30 pm and run 9 pm to 1 am- CALL OUTS will run between 11 pm – 12 am and a flash light start will be used.
Staging lanes will be closed during CALL OUTS.
MIR staff and volunteers from Racers of Memphis will work together to make these event fun and safe. All safety rules will be followed.
