Event Description
Our club is sponsoring an" OPEN CAR SHOW AND CHILI COOKOFF" Saturday, May 4th. from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. HWY. 213 AND HWY 11 in Mansfield, Georgia. All profits will be given to the "Mansfield Tornado Relief Fund" thru the Mansfield City Hall. Our small town of 371 souls has lost 6 homes (totally destroyed) and another 6 homes ( badly damaged) yet we do not consider ourselves victims, we are fighters. We have been told that neither Federal Aid nor State Aid will be available. Therefore, we are left to our own devices and the help of those who care. Your concern was most appreciated.Please like our Facebook sight: The Mansfield Women's Club-MWC. Our organization is a Social and Charitable Organization consisting of 15 members. We work very closely with our City Hall for any community needs. We also Volunteer to help other groups within the Newton County area. We are building community through these efforts.
