This 1926 Ford Model T is bodied with an 1861 Horse-Drawn Sleigh (Note the curled "runners" at the back. It was built by my grandfather, Walter Cox in 1973 in Charlottesville, Va. He rescued the "T" truck from a mud-bog and rebuilt it, and ordered the sleigh from Canada (front seats were originally backwards and they fold down). He drove Santa in many Christmas parades, and participated in events all over Virginia, particularly in our hometown of Pulaski. He drove all of us grandkids around at family reunions. He sold it in the 80's when he became too arthritic. I re-acquired the car a few years ago. After a few adjustments and a new radiator, I have been able to take it on drives as much as 25 miles! It ios a true family heirloom.
