My custom center console build.

The hardest part of making this was....actually it was not hard at all.
First make a cardboard mock-up, then label each piece, take it apart and transfer the cut out pieces to some 1/2" board. Some guys use OSB but I used nice, sandable sheets for making furniture with.
Then cut out the patterns, glue and screw them together, do your final fit and sanding then wrap it in leather, vinyl, or add whatever trim you desire.
My cupholders are actually pen holders i got from office max, and the pockets are removed from mercedes that had audio/video equipment put in their place.
These are readily avalable like candy at audio install shops for a couple bucks or free if you know someone.
I was not brave enough to cover the console myself so I farmed it out to Longs upholstery in Alpharetta who wrapped it in foam and leather grain vinyl for $125.00...done.
