This is probably my all time favorite muscle car. But it was so much more than that. It predicted the future 50 years ago for the look and feel of high performance street cars. Besides, it set 29 speed records on the salt flats. Besides that, its look was sketched by one of the all time great designers - Raymond Loewy. I have a story coming out in Muscle Car Review magazine soon on this very '63 Avanti. It has a fantastic history and was actually driven by Studebaker CEO Egbert before being released for public sale.
