I am proud to be a supporter of St. Judes Children's Research Hospital

Having been to St. Judes and seen the wonderful things that St. Judes does for the children and their families, the caring, dedication, and determination, I have every intention of using my racing to support their cause for years to come.

Having spent time with the kids at St. Judes and witnessed the success stories, the strength, bravery, and the spirit of the kids and their families, I must say that i was blessed with the experience and plan on visiting them every chance that I can.

Please help me in supporting St. Judes by going to the following link and send a donation.

I will be practicing at Concord tomorrow Morning and racing tomorrow night. Then Sunday I will be at Greenville-Pickens helping to pit the Revolution Racing cars for the K&N race.  That's right...I also pit...lol

Please add me as a Friend on your new network. Also, I suggest youset up a club as a "Fan Club" for Amber Colvin and we can use that to promote the race series as well.  Just go to http://southeastwheelsevents.com/groups/group/new and set it up the way you want it to go.  Do you do any in car videos? We would love to see them here. Please post all the races you know of. We often have races that no one else seems to cover.  Mike Thies

Welcome Amber!!
Welcome over to our website! It is truly good to have you here! Thank you for posting the Legend Races at the Concord Speedway in North Carolina. Here's to the biggest win for you, yet.

Whether you are looking to attend events or when you are interested in helping promote and publicize events, we are pleased to help bring a broader awareness about auto, truck and motorcycle events throughout the US. There are so many things we can do together to increase attention to our mutual interest in "wheels". The more members and participants you get to join and "RSVP", the higher ranking I can push for your club/event on the search engines. Please note that we provide a unique URL for all events you post here, and this is good to use in emails and other links.     http://southeastwheelsevents.com/events/legends-race-concord-nc

We are eager to see some more photos (and maybe videos) of your races and your race car, as well as the various other vehicles and activities, and all the events you enjoy, too. We want as many photos as we can get. You may have heard that we are collecting One Million photos of cars, bikes & trucks! Please announce this at any shows you attend, as we want to get the word out! It is good to write about your "wheels" adventures on the blog, as we all enjoy stories from our members.
As you can see, one of the real strengths of our website is the feature that any member can add events whenever they find one that have not been listed! You do not have to "submit" through emails or the postal service, etc.
If I can help at all with any of your projects, call me at 770-883-0160.
Sincerely,
Mike Thies

A Bite of History: Unicorn Restorations, the 1974 Camaro Z28 by Mike Thies

A Bite of History: Unicorn Restorations, the 1974 Camaro Z28

by Mike Thies

At any good car show, you will find 1957 Chevys in every form: survivors, frame-off restorations, and restomods. What you will rarely find is a 1958. That tells you something about the collector market. Not every year of a popular model becomes a true collectible. Buyers pick favorites, and those years get saved, restored, and passed down, while the years next to them…

The Insurance Total-Loss Process by Mike Thies

The Insurance Total-Loss Process

By Mike Thies

A total-loss declaration is a math problem first and a negotiation second. If you understand how the insurer reaches its number, you can tell whether that number is fair, and what to do if it is not.

This guide is general information, not an appraisal of any specific vehicle. For a valuation you can rely on, request an…
