Welcome Barry!!
Welcome over to our website! It is truly good to have you here! Thank you for posting the North GA Hot Rod's "March Meet" in Dalton, GA. Here's to the 9th year being the best yet.

Whether you are looking to attend events or when you are interested in helping promote and publicize events, we are pleased to help bring a broader awareness about auto, truck and motorcycle events throughout the US. There are so many things we can do together to increase attention to our mutual interest in "wheels". The more members and participants you get to join and "RSVP", the higher ranking I can push for your club/event on the search engines. Please note that we provide a unique URL for all events you post here, and this is good to use in emails and other links.     http://southeastwheelsevents.com/events/north-ga-hot-rods-9th-annual

We are eager to see some more photos (and maybe videos) of your Chevy Impala, as well as the various other vehicles you favor, and all the events you enjoy, too. We want as many photos as we can get. You may have heard that we are collecting One Million photos of cars, bikes & trucks! Please announce this at any shows you attend, as we want to get the word out! It is good to write about your "wheels" adventures on the blog, as we all enjoy stories from our members.
As you can see, one of the real strengths of our website is the feature that any member can add events whenever they find one that have not been listed! You do not have to "submit" through emails or the postal service, etc.
If I can help at all with any of your projects, call me at 770-883-0160.
Sincerely,
Mike Thies

The Class Host at a Concours d’Elegance by Mike Thies

The Person Who Keeps the Field Working

A Concours d’Elegance may look simple from the outside: beautiful cars, polished chrome, fresh grass, well-dressed owners, judges with clipboards, and spectators enjoying the day. But anyone who has worked behind the scenes knows better. A…

A Bite of History - Marcos  By Mike Thies

A Bite of History - Marcos

By Mike Thies

The Marcos was one of those wonderfully unconventional British sports car companies that could only have come from the postwar racing world. The company was founded in 1959 by Jem Marsh and aerodynamicist Frank Costin, with the name Marcos coming from Marsh and Costin. Costin brought serious aircraft and racing design experience to the project, and that influence showed up immediately in the cars: low frontal area, light weight,…
