Dunwoody Driving Club Schedules First
“Friday Nite Lights” Car Show Event for 2013

Dunwoody, GA (March 6, 2013) --- The Dunwoody Driving Club (DDC) has scheduled its first “Friday Nite Lights” car event for 2013 for Friday evening, April 5th from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Camelot Jewelers/O'Brian's Tavern/Ace Hardware parking lot at 2484 Mount Vernon Road (located at the corner of Mt. Vernon and Dunwoody Club). This DDC event is open to all unique forms of transportation. There is no charge to attend and the club encourages all vintage and sports car enthusiasts to bring their families to see some of the most beautiful vintage and sports cars owned by autophiles in the Dunwoody and Sandy Springs area.

The club’s last Friday Nite Lite’s event in October 2012 drew more than 100 distinctive cars with approximately 300 people in attendance. With spring and daylight savings time just weeks away, the Dunwoody Driving Club anticipates an even bigger turnout for its first event of the year.

This is the DDC’s third anniversary and each event becomes bigger, better and more entertaining! The event is free and people of all ages are welcome. The club’s Friday Nite Lights events bring to the Dunwoody and Sandy Spring area a great opportunity for people to enjoy a unique evening in our wonderful community.

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene.
