Car Enthusiasm Sparks Forsyth

By Mike Thies, www.SouthEastWheelsEvents.com

Over the past few years, Forsyth’s economy has been revved up in celebration of the substantial growth with new businesses and noteworthy events. There’s one local business in particular gaining notoriety, not only for its spectacular services within the community, but also for the touch of class it’s bringing to the northern part of Forsyth. The 400 Wheels Project is exceeding expectations and delivering fresh ideas within our community. What was once a blank canvas has now been now re-envisioned into a space for celebrating timeless cars the community can join together and admire!! 400 Wheels is inspiring attention within the neighborhood and throughout the South.

This unique concept was conceived by Igor Kopmar, a successful Georgia entrepreneur in the travel industry. Taking his love for classic and collector automobiles, he seeded the idea of a “Car Bazaar.” Each weekend at the newly renovated 400 Wheels’ facility there is a Car Show, Car Corral (where anyone can bring a vehicle to sell) and a Swap Meet. The facility features two new buildings and a third is set to be completed this fall. The entire concept is built around automotive activities, but the goal is to expand the program as the larger building is completed. It will be available to the Forsyth community for a variety of large auctions, conferences, meets, events and ideas yet to be conceived!

For now, every Saturday hosts a full featured car show. There is food, music, beautiful trophies and trained judges. In a world where most similar events charge $20 to $30 to bring their collector cars to display and compete for recognition, 400 Wheels charges only $10. This quality event is truly refreshing! Along with the Car Show, there’s a Car Corral, where hobbyists and collectors bring their finished or project vehicles to sale. This can be a wonderful show in itself with more fun than listing these beauties on eBay! All of you curious car buffs can see the vehicle, talk to the owner and arrange for a test drive.

These events are wonderful for the whole family to attend, enjoy local foods and any variety of vendors can present their wares for the residents of Forsyth! Everyone is encouraged to come by and visit to see the quality care invested in this unique project. The community’s input and ideas are welcome and may very well be paramount to a whole new project to be presented at the 400Wheels site! For more information please visit www.400Wheels.com or by phone at 404-691-2555.  The Car Show is featured each week on www.SouthEastWheelsEvents.com!  This project is truly much more than just a “touch” of class!

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…
