The 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe is a regular driver. This is "Tony the Pony".
I purchased this car in February, 2012, from an 82 year old lady. The car had belonged to her husband, who passed away a year earlier. When I went to see the car, she told me that no one in her family wanted the car, so she decided to sell it. I could hardly believe that story, given the car was clean, was never wrecked, had no rust anywhere, and, it ran and drove too! I immediately purchased the car, near her asking price. I became the proud 4th owner of the car - an unmolested, completely original, matching numbers car.
With help, of course, I started a frame-on restoration in 2012, which continued through the spring of 2014. The car has 135k miles on it, with its original 289 motor and 3 speed automatic C4 transmission. It also has factory power steering and a/c. In my opinion, this car's best feature is the fresh interior, which helps make it feel like a brand new 1968 Mustang.
This car is driven very regularly. This year will be it's 4th trip to the annual Cruisin' The Coast cruise-in, which takes place on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. And, recently, it was driven to visit family in Tampa, Florida. I do not haul it or trailer it anywhere; I always drive it where ever we're going. In local car shows, this car has won a respectable number of awards in the last couple of years - I'm a proud papa for that. Being a member of the Georgia Cool Cruisers, this car was invited to be a special display auto in the 2015 Atlanta International Auto Show, held in the Georgia World Congress Center. What an honor that was!
This is definitely not a #1 car (although I think it's a strong #2 car), and it is a real beauty just the same. The engine bay is not show worthy, and frankly I really don't care about that, because I drive it all the time and enjoy it (in the rain and shine)! This isn't a Fastback, GT, or a high dollar Shelby; it's a fantastic Coupe. I'm honored to be this car's current caretaker. The car is well maintained and stays clean, so others can enjoy looking at it, and reminisce about the good old days!

Triumph TR8
The Triumph TR8, introduced in 1978, was often called the “English Corvette.” It was essentially a Triumph TR7 fitted with a Rover 3.5-liter aluminum V8, a powerplant with American Buick origins that had been adopted by British Leyland in the 1960s. With around 135 to 150 horsepower in…

1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL
Introduced in late 1966 for a short, single-year production run, the 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL holds a special place in the “Pagoda” lineage (W113 series) as the rarest variant, with only about 5,196 units built. Positioned between the earlier 230SL and the later 280SL, the 250SL…

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster
The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…
