Written by Don Raye and Robert Mitchum Recorded by Robert Mitchum 1958 Car chase video. The first Ford Mitchum drove was actually a 51 model with 49 hood, 50 grill and parklights. The chrome windsplits were removed. The other giveaway is the V8 and Ford Custom emblems on front fenders plus dash and steering wheel. The engine was said to be a Ford Y block 292/312. The car was supposedly taken back to Californua by the Mitchums when filming was over but no one remembers where it ended up. Much of the filming locations were in Asheville, NC and Weaverville.
