The LFA Toyota's Technology demonstrator was first shown in 2005, aimed to move Toyota''s technology beyond the rest of the world. The original 2005 prototype was all alloy. In the subsequent 6 years the car got a Lexus Badge and a complete carbon fiber structure. Only 500 of these cars are slated for release, with 150 heading to the US. Toyota was out to prove they could compete with Ferrari and McClaren in building a quality Supercar with out compromises.
