Registration Underway for Annual Cars for Canines Event
The Canine Adoption Network has opened registration for its 4th Annual Cars for Canines show. All makes, models and years of cars will be on display. The event, hosted by Mercedes Benz Club of America, Peachtree Section, will be from 12 noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, at Jubilee Shopping Center, 1500 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Suwanee.
To register a car, visit www.canineadoptionnetwork.org. Entry fee is $25 donation to Canine Adoption Network and will include lunch for two and an event t-shirt. A second entry is $15.
Dogs for adoption and mini-horses from Save the Horses will be on hand, and the day will include raffles and great food. Family Fun with Children’s Activities in conjunction with the Fall Festival at the Suwanee Jubilee Center!
Proceeds from the event will benefit Canine Adoption Network to help with ongoing expenses. The group is an all-volunteer animal welfare group, which cares for its adoptable pets in foster homes while they await permanent placements. At present, it has over 60 dogs in its care.
