Event Description

The Carlisle Truck Nationals and its show within the show, the Big Rig Show and Shine, are one of the largest and most action-packed truck events in the world. The weekend is a must-attend event and has been the epicenter for all things truck since 1991. Come to Carlisle for a great array of lowered mini trucks, lifted 4x4s, chromed out big rigs, SUV’s, custom vans and the perfectly restored classics. The weekend celebrates trucks of all kinds. Annually, more than 2,000 trucks are part of the judged showfield but more than judged excellence, there is something for the entire family to enjoy. Kids ages 12 and under are admitted free, allowing them and their families to enjoy monster truck shows. Better yet, attendees can climb in for a monster truck ride around the grounds. The family fun continues with the Kids at Carlisle Activity Center, shopping, parts buying at the Manufacturers Midway and much more. In addition to the family fun there will be various competitions with prizes awarded and celebrity guests. The pulse-pounding fun continues with special contests, including burnouts and beauty. The weekend features more than you can imagine.

1958 Porsche 356 Speedster

The 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster marks the swan song of one of Porsche’s most iconic and minimalist models. Originally introduced in 1954 at the urging of U.S. importer Max Hoffman, the Speedster was designed to be a low cost, lightweight, stripped-down entry sports car that could double as a weekend racer, especially for the California sports car scene. With its low windshield,…

1948 Rover P3 Saloon

The 1948 Rover P3 Saloon marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of British motoring. Introduced in the immediate aftermath of World War II, the P3 was a bridge between prewar craftsmanship and the modern engineering ethos that would come to define Rover’s future. Although its styling retained many traditional elements, including an upright grille, separate fenders, and rear-hinged front…
