Event Description

🚗 Cars on Main – Downtown Woodstock, GA
📅 Saturday, October 4, 2025
⏰ 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
📍 Chattahoochee Tech – 8371 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188

Join us in Downtown Woodstock for an evening of cars, community, and good vibes at Cars on Main! Whether you drive a golf cart, classic cruiser, lifted truck, or supercar, everyone is welcome. This is a family-friendly event where car enthusiasts and neighbors come together to enjoy a relaxed night out.

Expect all makes, all models, and golf carts too—because cool rides come in all shapes and sizes. 🎶 Music will set the mood, and a 🍔 food truck will be on-site to keep everyone fueled.

🚦 Event Rules (The Fun but Serious Kind)
We want everyone to have a blast while keeping things safe and respectful. So here’s the deal:

No Burnouts 🛞💨
This isn’t Fast & Furious: Woodstock Drift. Keep the rubber on your tires, not on the pavement.

No Loud Music 🔊🚫
If your speakers rattle more than your engine, it’s too loud. Save the concerts for your car ride home.

No Revving 🚗🎶
Your exhaust note is impressive — trust us, we believe you. No need to prove it 27 times in a row.

Respect the Lot 🅿️✨
Treat it like Grandma’s driveway: keep it clean, keep it classy.

Watch for Kids & Families 👨‍👩‍👧👀
Little ones don’t always look both ways. Please drive like your own family is walking out there.

No Race Starts 🏁✋
Exiting the lot doesn’t mean you’re at the drag strip. Leave like you’re cruising, not competing for pink slips.

Respect the Neighborhoods 🏡🌙
We love our Woodstock neighbors — let’s make sure they love us too by keeping noise and speed in check.

Cruise at 25 MPH 🛑✨
The speed limit around the event is 25 MPH — and honestly, if you’re flying past, nobody can even see how cool your car looks. But if you cruise in at the speed limit, everyone can admire just how amazing your ride really is.

A Bite of History - 1977 Chevrolet Corvette

By Mike Thies

The 1977 Corvette carried forward one of America’s most recognizable shapes while quietly refining it for a changing era. By now, the third-generation Corvette had matured into a smoother, more comfortable grand-touring machine. The tall rear window of earlier years gave way to a cleaner fastback design that improved visibility and aerodynamics. Inside, Chevrolet focused on comfort and drivability, quieter…

Triumph TR8

The Triumph TR8, introduced in 1978, was often called the “English Corvette.” It was essentially a Triumph TR7 fitted with a Rover 3.5-liter aluminum V8, a powerplant with American Buick origins that had been adopted by British Leyland in the 1960s. With around 135 to 150 horsepower in…

1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL

Introduced in late 1966 for a short, single-year production run, the 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL holds a special place in the “Pagoda” lineage (W113 series) as the rarest variant, with only about 5,196 units built. Positioned between the earlier 230SL and the later 280SL, the 250SL…
