At the January meeting our resident MCA National Gold Card Judge, Steve Harrison, offered to conduct a workshop about preparing your car to be judged at a MCA National Show.
The NE Georgia Mustang Club is pleased to announce that a “Going for the Gold” Judging Clinic will take place on February 24th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Steve will discuss general judging guidelines such as the new 2018 scoring process for Occasional Drivers and Daily Drivers; how judges score your car; judging professionalism and the different levels of judges that make up the judging team. Steve, along with Rick Schmidt and Keith Corkern will describe the tools and techniques that they use on their own prize-winning cars and will, if requested, informally judge your show car to give you an idea of what areas of your car may need attention.
Whether you are thinking about attending your first MCA National Mustang show and are wondering how to achieve a top score at a judged show; this clinic is for you.
The clinic will take place at Steve and Jan Harrison’s home at 4211 Lantern Hill Drive, Dacula, GA 30019 on February 24th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
If you’re interested, we’d like to have an approximate head count so please send an e-mail to Steve at steve66shelby@gmail.com and let him know you are planning on attending.
