Event Description

The annual Stone Mountain Village Christmas Parade and Fireworks is a fun, family event held the evening after Thanksgiving in the Historic Village of Stone Mountain, GA.

-Festivities from 4:00 – 8:00pm on Friday, November 23rd, 2012
-Parade starts at 6:00pm
-Fireworks 7:30pm

Bag-pipers, the amphibious duck from Stone Mountain Park, classic cars and motorcycles, marching dancers and elves, merchant cars and floats, choir music, the Conundrums Women’s Drumming group and more. Pony rides, marshmallow roasting and a letter writing station for letters to Santa will be available from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Santa’s arrival in the parade and the lighting of the tree are highlights before the fireworks extravaganza at 7:30pm.
