Over the next few years I plan on beefing her up to around 500 horsepower with a brand new engine and upgraded components to handle all of the power. I will either go with a DART block or the Boss 302 block for my engine swap just in case I want to go with forced induction either of those blocks would be able to withstand the pressure. Apart from the engine I also want to do a 5-lug conversion… Continue

Hi Curtis,

I am looking for folks to bring their vehicles to a Cruise-in on Friday nights at the Sonic Drive-in, located on Atlanta Hwy just off of Hwy 53 in Flowery Branch, Ga., from 4-8pm. Everyone welcome, come and share with friends and meet new people.  I will be there to offer gift packets from the church across from Sonic, Blackshear Place Baptist. If interested in joining us for fun, food and fellowship, please contact me for more information.  We plan to start up mid to late April, 2013.

God Bless,

Roy and Sandy Pierce

The foster and adoptive parents of Hall County extend an invitation to you to attend our 3rd annual car show on April 27th, 2013! The show location is the Hayes Dodge dealership, 3115 Frontage Rd in Gainesville GA from 11:00 to 5:00 with trophies awarded at 4:00.. All the money we collect goes to benefit the children in foster care in our county. We provide care bags when a foster child comes into foster care with all the necessities like a tooth brush and tooth paste and things like a new toy, a blanket... We also provide Christmas gifts for every child in care and we are looking to start up providing a birthday gift for their special day. We need your help to be able to take care of the 130 or so Hall County foster children. Registration is $15 per vehicle. We also welcome venders. Check out our website and see pics of our other car shows at www.lovehopehealing.com! We hope to see you there!!

Welcome over to our website! I cannot tell you how pleased I am t have you join in here!! It was real good getting to know you and Moses tonight, You both are wonderful young men. I know you will remember our goal of 1 million photos :-)
Please add a group for your club and get all your members to join up. Add a Group and the price is right - zero!
I am looking forward to some more great photos (and maybe videos) of your Mustang, as well as some of the various other vehicles you favor, and events you enjoy, too. Also, it is good to write about your "wheels" adventures on the blog, as we all enjoy stories from our members.
One of the real strengths of our website is the feature that any member can add events whenever they find one that we have overlooked! You do not have to "submit" through emails or the postal service, etc.
Please invite your club, your family and friends as this helps the site grow and improves your sofcial network communications. If I can help at all with any of your projects, call me at 770-883-0160.
Sincerely,
Mike Thies

A Bite of History - Marcos

By Mike Thies

The Marcos was one of those wonderfully unconventional British sports car companies that could only have come from the postwar racing world. The company was founded in 1959 by Jem Marsh and aerodynamicist Frank Costin, with the name Marcos coming from Marsh and Costin. Costin brought serious aircraft and racing design experience to the project, and that influence showed up immediately in the cars: low frontal area, light weight,…

A Judge’s View from Pinehurst: Sandhills Motoring Expo 2026 by Mike Thies

The 2026 Sandhills Motoring Expo Concours in the Village was one of those days that reminds you why we do this. Held Sunday, May 24, in the historic Village of Pinehurst, the event brought together more than 130 judged automobiles representing over 40 manufacturers, and from this judge’s point of view, it was a first-class field, a well-run operation, and a genuinely enjoyable day with owners who were proud to…
