I received this letter via Dik Wesson of the ROMEOs. Another loss in our extended family of vehicle enthusiasts. Please pray for the family. Mike

"Dear All,

I am so terribly sad to report that we lost our dear friend, father and husband, Jim Beard yesterday afternoon.  He handled his six year battle with cancer with grace and fortitude and no complaint.  He was busy making plans as many of you know up until the very end.  To say he will be missed is completely understating the feelings that so many had for him.

I want to thank you for your unending love and attention to him throughout this whole ordeal.  One of the most astounding things that became apparent in the last few weeks is how many dedicated friends he had, a true testament to the man he strived to be and was.  All our love and thanks to you, his devoted friends.

Barbara, Lauren and Cassie

p.s.  Please feel free to pass this on to those I may have inadvertently missed"
