Poker Run Fun! “Get Out And Drive!”

Poker Run Fun! “Get Out And Drive!”

It is all huge fun.  If you have a collector car, it is great fun to go car show and cruise in to show off your pride an joy, as well as see the variety of vehicles that others choose to bring.  Yet sitting or walking around leads to wanting to drive!  Now a its growing very popular to go on rides and poker runs.  Poker Runs are all over from coast to coast and they have a huge following.  The biggest seem to be on water with power boats, and also with motorcycle clubs on the roads.  We see them for off roaders, snowmobiles and even horses.  No matter what you ride, participants pay an entry fee, go to five destinations collecting cards, and the best hand wins the pot. Most share the fees collected with charities.

More and more, collector car enthusiasts are looking for ways and places to drive.  Magnus Walker, the Urban Outlaw and famous car fabricator’s motto is “Get Out And Drive”!  This Saturday, rain or shine, we are having a chance to do just that, …drive!  Starting at the new Lanier Raceplex (the Lanier International Racetrack, now reopened) we will drive to Commerce, Winder, Lawrenceville and back to Braselton to raise funds for the US Marine’s Toys For Tots Charity. See the flyer here at https://southeastwheelsevents.ning.com/events/us-marines-toys-4-tot...  Check it out and let’s “Get Out And Drive!”
